Llamas & Wine

This past weekend was certainly one for the books. My best friend, Jazmine, and I surprised my mom for her birthday by taking her to a unique winery.

Located in the East Bend, North Carolina, deep in the Yadkin Valley, there is a place called the Divine Llama Vineyard.

Lushes fields of grape vines stretch across the landscape giving the perfect view of Pilot Mountain.

When you arrive your are greeted by black and silver metal sculpture of a llama. Across from that is the where you can try a flight of wine and purchase bottles and keepsake items.

They have ten different wines that you can choose from and each wine is named after a llama that is there at the vineyard.

My favorite wine was the Versailles "Si". I loved the strong peachy flavor. According to their website they named it Versailles "Si", after the West's youngest daughter's show llama.

Of course by now you've read that not only do they have wine, but llamas.

There are two paths you can walk down to get to the llama farm, so make sure you wear some comfy walking shoes!

I personally had never seen a llama in person and they were so cute and nice. Some were super sassy, which you'll be able to tell from photos that are below.

I love that in just one visit I could tell that they are well taken care of and are happy living there.

If you are interested in visiting Divine Llama Vineyards then click here to be taken to their website.

I hope you enjoy the photos below!
