family photographer, kids photographer, maternity photographer

hey
y'all!

I am a goofy gal with a love for honest, natrual, and candid images. I have been capturing memories of my clients and their families for the past 10 years. I have also, worked for several photography companies specializing in children photography at local daycare and preschool facilities.
What I love most about my job is being able to capture milestones and special moments as they are.
My Why?
You have probably heard the saying
“A picture is worth a thousand words”, and I am here to show you that. I am a super emotional person by nature so the most thrilling part of photography for me is to take you back to treasured moments you experienced, flooding you with memories and emotions you may have otherwise forgotten about. It is a tremendous honor and the most rewarding job to be able to allow my clients to always cherish these moments. Nothing lights me up more than catching the perfect moment and seeing my client get super excited about it!

how it
all started
From 2012-2016 I had a photography and graphic design business under the name: Rachel Snider Designs and Photography Until I stopped due to an 8-5 high demand graphic design job. I hated putting my photography passion on hold, but I did still do sessions for close family and friends.
Flash forward to January of 2020, I finally decided that photography will and always be my first love and passion; so I launched my business under the new name of Wild Cosmos Photography.
When brainstorming for names I started googling types of wildflowers - since I love them so much and it paid homage to my country roots. I settled on the Wild Cosmos Flower because out of everyone I asked that one stuck out the most and people had never heard of the name!
