Couple & Engagement Sessions
The first thing so many of my couples say to me is, “warning, we’re not models.” My response? Good. My goal as a photographer is to make you feel like you’re just hanging out with an old friend who happens to have a camera pointed at you. My mission is not to raise the stakes and make you feel like you need to have just walked out of a magazine nor is it my mission to give you the cookie-cutter photo. My mission is to create photos that bring out the natural, silly, real emotions you have and share with your person.

FAQs
DO YOU HAVE LOCATIONS TO CHOOSE FROM?
Yes, there are tons of parks, state parks, historic sites, downtown choices and plenty of country fields, but I strongly encourage couples to choose a location that means something to them and their story.
WHEN AND HOW DO I BOOK MY COUPLE OR ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
I recommend booking a month or two in advance. My weekend sessions book 1-2 months in advance; however, I do try to leave a few dates for late minute sessions.
WHAT TIME OF DAY WILL OUR SESSION TAKE PLACE?
I love golden hour and usually my sessions take place an hour before sunset, but I do offer some morning and late afternoon hours.
WHAT DO WE WEAR?
I assist all my couples with choosing their outfits. Outfits can make a huge difference in your photos. I love adding texture, layers, hats, jewelry. After booking we will select a location, then go over styling.
